The “Homeless” series was started in the 1990’s in Los Angeles and San Fernando Valley. Couches, chairs and all type of furniture starting showing up on the curbs and in alleys. They would suddenly appear one day and be gone the next. I starting thinking the life they had in someone’s house, then tossed to the curb with dreams of finding another home. Where did they eventually end up? I soon started finding furniture all over LA, so I started photographing in B&W and hand coloring with Marshall’s oils.
